Time flies when you're old

This upcoming week is the 5th week of school, but it marks the end of the "first six weeks" grading period.  Our school year is broken up into 6 six-week periods, yet I don't think any of them are actually six weeks in length.  The first semester is all like 5 week chunks, and the second semester is usually 7 week chunks.  Weird, huh?  Anyway, the point of all this rambling is that I can *not* believe that we are already 1/6th of the way done with this new school year.  It seems like school just started yesterday.  Time really does go by fast when you get old.  All you youngsters...you've been warned.
